Our 5th grade artists are connecting laugauge with art through visual story telling. We have studied the industries that involve visual communication such as comic novels, animation, design, movies. After reading the comic "Seeing the Future" students began to illustrate their own comic stip to include a title frame and action frames. Their story could be fictional, historical, or personal.
